For several years, BP Logix has used the Learning Management System (LMS) provided by Litmos. Our current contract with Litmos will expire on 25 May 2025, and we've decided not to renew it. For users with existing learner accounts on Litmos, no action is required at this time.
A new Training Portal (training.bplogix.com) has been created in preparation for this change. The new LMS is called Reach 360, and it's provided by Articulate software, the same vendor from which we purchase our training course authoring software, Storyline 360. Reach is easier to use for learners, with a simpler, less cluttered user interface. But, though simpler, similar functions for tracking progress, certificates of completion, course self-assignment, and other features will remain available to learners. Similarly, Reach also replicates the same courses and learning paths that are configured on Litmos.
While we'll continue to use Litmos for existing learners until May 2025, we'll be directing new learners to the new Training Portal. During that time, we'll be operating both LMS systems concurrently, adding any new learner accounts to the new portal, while maintaining all the existing accounts on Litmos. When your organization needs a new learner account, your Account Manager will send the learner the appropriate self-provisioning URL to enable the learner to create an account on the new portal.
When we deactivate Litmos next May, the newest learner accounts there will all be over one year old. As such, we won't be migrating any existing Litmos accounts to the new portal. Most Litmos learners will have completed the existing training by then. But if, in May 2025, you'd like to migrate a training account from Litmos to the new portal, let us know. But that's nearly a year away, so you don't need to do anything until then.
We won't be updating any of the existing training courses on Litmos from this point on. New training courses and course revisions will be published solely to the new portal. At the moment, it houses new versions of the Core, Intermediate, Advanced, and System Administration training courses for Process Director, as well as all five PubPro training courses. All of these revised courses have been updated with new content and imagery to use the v6.1.X Process Director UI. All users will also, when self-provisioning their learner account, be automatically assigned to a newly-created training course on the use of the new LMS. The remaining training courses will be updated over time.
If you'd like to have new learners take training for a BP Logix product, please refer to the Training Portal Access article, which can be viewed only if you are logged into Zendesk.
